IE University’s School of Science and Technology (Sci-Tech) invites qualified applicants for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in Data Science and Computer Science. Relevant, high-impact research and knowledge creation is a critical part of the mission of the school, and they are currently seeking to build a team of foundational research faculty as part of the next phase of our expansion.
They seek applicants with a proven research background who are capable of establishing and leading their own research lines.
DS track (4 positions): They welcome candidates with strong foundations on data science, machine learning and operations research.
CS track (3 positions): They welcome candidates with strong profiles in algorithm design, optimization, artificial intelligence, software engineering, or related fields, including (but not limited to) human-computer interaction, robotics, computer vision, or complex systems.
In both cases, they value expertise and interest in knowledge transfer to domain specific sectors, including (but not limited to) healthcare, energy/environment, finance, cybersecurity, marketing/retail, etc.
