Essay Contest: The One Hundred Year Study on Artificial Intelligence (AI100) is opening up an early career essay competition for Ph.D. students, postdocs, and early-career research scientists and faculty to help us better understand and anticipate how artificial intelligence will affect our lives, work, and society at large.

Applications will go live on January 17, but now is a great time for those of you leading graduate courses on AI technology and/or AI policy to think about assigning this task as part of a class, and to work with your students to polish and submit particularly strong essays.
